Civil and mining

Civil and mining safety software that travels with the crew

Risk assessments that show the residual risk and cover every machine they apply to, SWMS tailored per job and signed from any phone, pre-starts as forms, and every dozer, water cart and light vehicle as an asset. One platform, from the pit to the office.

Australian owned. Used every day on active sites across Australia.

The basics

What is civil and mining safety software?

Civil and mining safety software replaces the risk assessment in a binder at the crib hut, the SWMS someone drives out to site for signing and the pre-start book in the cab. Risk assessments, SWMS, pre-starts and toolbox talks are completed on the phone the crew already carries, signed and time-stamped, and filed against the site, the project or the plant.

For crews spread across pits, camps and civil jobs the difference is that the record travels. A risk assessment covers every machine it applies to, a SWMS is tailored per job from one master, and every water cart, dozer and light vehicle is an asset with its service interval and its tag-out history visible from anywhere with a browser.

Built for the site

The parts of a remote job that paper handles worst.

  • Risk assessments with the residual risk

Hazards grouped by category, rated before and after controls, controls tagged by the hierarchy. Versioned, reviewed on a date, acknowledged by name, covering every asset they apply to.

  • SWMS tailored per job

Build the SWMS once for the task, tailor it to each job, and get the crew’s sign-off in one hit from their phones or a QR code at the pre-start.

  • Pre-starts and take-fives as forms

Plant pre-starts, take-fives, JSEAs and shift handovers built the way your crews already run them. A no answer opens the follow-up questions on the spot.

  • Plant as assets

Service intervals by hours or kilometres, tag-outs with a reason, damage reports and a QR code on the machine that opens its record from the cab.

Proof, not paperwork

When the site senior asks, you already have it.

Every risk assessment version, every signed SWMS and every ticket is on record the moment it happens. Answering an evidence request is a search from the office, not a drive to the crib hut.

  • Every published version of a risk assessment on record, with its review due date and who acknowledged it.
  • The signed SWMS with its full revision history, as one branded PDF.
  • Licences and tickets per worker in their digital passport, with the holder chased before expiry.

Crews

Every crew member on record, wherever they are.

Toolbox talks, licences and inductions are on record the moment they happen, and each item of plant shows who it is assigned to, so a supervisor at the pit and the manager in town are looking at the same thing.

  • Toolbox talks scheduled, recorded and signed on the spot.
  • Which plant is assigned to which crew member, visible on the asset’s record.
  • Timesheets logged from site sign-out, exported as CSV for payroll.

Time back

Stop chasing paperwork around your sites.

The cost of a paper system is not the paper, it is the hours. Organisations typically save 20 to 50 hours a month when digital forms replace the chase.

  • Pre-starts that chase themselves

Create a task and AREESA alerts you when it has not been done. No more Friday ring-around to find out who skipped the pre-start.

  • Sign in once, timesheet done

Workers sign into a site and a timesheet entry is logged for the time they are onsite. Site attendance and hours, captured in one action.

  • Records that file themselves

Toolbox talks, inductions and sign-offs are stored the moment they happen. Audit prep becomes a search, not a week of digging.

Runs on the phone they already carry. No app.

AREESA is fully web-based. The crew opens the browser on their own phone at the pre-start, signs the SWMS, does the plant check, and gets on with the shift. Nothing to install, no Apple-or-Android lock-in.

Proof

Not just documented. Verified.

A safety system only counts if you can prove it happened.

  • A required form in AREESA on a phone, marked completed

    Completion tracking

See who has completed inductions, sign-offs and inspections across every site, live.

  • The AREESA metrics action bar showing forms awaiting approval, overdue tasks and expired licences

    Approval workflows

SWMS and documents move through review and approval with a full history.

  • A Safe Work Method Statement generated by AREESA as a branded PDF, with the company block and worker names blurred

    Audit-ready records

Every record time-stamped and signed. When the auditor asks, you search, not scramble.

Questions

Can a risk assessment cover a whole fleet of plant?

Yes. A risk assessment in AREESA can cover one asset or many. Hazards are grouped by category with initial and residual ratings, controls are tagged by type, and the assessment is versioned with a review due date and acknowledgements by name.

How do crews sign a SWMS in the field?

From the phone in their pocket. Request sign-off from the whole crew in one hit from the dashboard, or put a QR code up at the pre-start so they scan and sign. Every version and every signature stays on record.

Does it work with patchy reception?

AREESA runs in the browser and needs a connection to submit a form or a signature, the same as any web page.

How are plant pre-starts kept against the machine?

Each item of plant is an asset with a QR code. Scan it and the asset opens with its forms, so the pre-start is started from the machine and filed against it, alongside its service history and tag-outs.

Do workers need an app?

No. AREESA is fully web-based, so it works on any device with a browser: phone, tablet or computer, Apple or Android. Workers can even use a personal email address.

What does civil and mining safety software cost?

Pricing depends on the size of your organisation and the modules you need. Book a demo and you’ll get a straight number in the first conversation.
